Laboratory Modules

A modular laboratory solution is a common answer to offshore facility requirements. A60 modules, zoned as required, are suited to all installation types including platform, FPSO, FLNG, DFPSO, FSO or semi-sub facilities.

A60 laboratory modules are carefully designed to meet required operational, health, fire and safety specifications, and are supplied fully fitted out with laboratory furniture, test benches, storage units, fume extraction, pressure control and HVAC systems.

Fully-equipped A60 laboratory modules are also available on a rental basis.

Internal Design and Fabrication

Often the “four walls” of a laboratory are included in the offshore facility structure or onshore site buildings and only the internal design and fit out are required.

Oleochem Project Management designs the internal layout with full consideration given to the test schedule and overall good laboratory ergonomics. Our detailed designs, in addition to furniture, provide for fume extraction, chemical storage, waste management, safety equipment and reporting area requirements.

The furniture and fume extraction system are custom fabricated to meet your requirements. Installation engineers are available to install your laboratory and provide certification that your fume system is operating in compliance with recognised standards.

Recently completed projects for Hess, Santos, Eni and PTTEP/Tanker Pacific have provided fit for purpose facilities at both onshore and offshore locations. This service is also suited to project management of facility upgrades. Past projects include Shell’s Bonny Terminal Facility Laboratory.
