Sales & Technical Support Supervisor

The position undertakes the dual role of providing current customer support and active pursuit of new sales and development.

The successful applicant will have a good working knowledge of the offshore oil industry and ideally will have spent time offshore as a Production Chemist, but must certainly be familiar with the offshore and onshore laboratory environment.

Technical support and supervision of the company's ongoing projects offshore and onshore will be required and offshore visits will be undertaken on occasion.

Applicants must be of pleasant and outgoing disposition, well presented and enjoy meeting new people and the sales environment.

Salary will be dependent on experience and proven history and PRP may be considered for the successful candidate. There is also a management potential for the right individual.

Procurement Officer

The Company also has a vacancy for a Procurement Officer to cover Maternity Leave for a period of around 8 months although there is a potential for continuation after this period. This varied role will involve preparing and managing requests for proposals, reviewing large value purchase orders, working with clients, and reviewing the bidding process. The successful applicant will also be responsible for issuing quotations and occasional invoice processing. You will be expected to negotiate prices with suppliers for high value purchases or long term contracts; you will also be responsible in getting the best combination of price, service, and terms for the company.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good negotiating skills, be commercially aware and have an interest and experience in purchasing and sales. Training and handover will be given.
